Subject files, incident files, reports and court documents regarding allegations of mistreatment by four inmates at the Minnesota Correctional Facility at Oak Park Heights, a 400 bed facility designed as a maximum security prison and opened in April 1982. The alleged mistreatment, which included accusations of cruel and unusual punishment in several capacities, most notably extended periods in handcuffs and leg irons, occurred from approximately June through October 1982.

She was given the HUD Award for Design (Metro Center 1985 Report) for the City of Minneapolis (1970). In 1972 Berglin was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives and re-elected in 1974, 1976, and 1978. Berglin was named Minnesota's Outstanding Young Woman for 1974.
